Healing process of eyebrow micropigmentation - Microblading

There are many stages of healing for eyebrow micropigmentation or microblading, and there are also many precautions that we all have to take over the 30 days resulting from eyebrow micropigmentation or microblading.

So let's clarify today so that you can take care of your procedure in a way that does not interfere with the final result of your eyebrow micropigmentation or microblading.

It is always very common for our clients to experience a certain “panic” during the healing process, even after we have explained all the steps to be followed in the days after microblading or micropigmentation. I usually say that the healing process is ugly, because crusts, scaling, a decrease in color or even disappearing completely for a few days are created, as well as some flaws.

All of this IS NORMAL and is part of the healing process, as the skin will be in an inflammatory process, and will require extreme care on the part of the client. So girls (and boys too!) do not despair.

For the greater convenience of my clients, after the eyebrow micropigmentation or microblading procedure, I always give a step-by-step of everything that will happen in the 30 days following the procedure. I'll leave an example here so you can refer to it if you need it.

And the retouch?

Not all clients need their eyebrow micropigmentation or microblading retouched, but I also always inform them that the final result of our art of micropigmentation will be obtained after the final retouching, if necessary.

Retouching will depend a lot on the type of skin. If it is oily or not, if the client is a smoker or not, if she is healthy. If the client has anemia, for example, micropigmentation may last less than desired. As you can see there are several factors that can interfere with the procedure and the indication of the retouch.

I will be following the entire healing process and will recommend retouching after 30 days of healing, if necessary.

What should we not do in the healing process of eyebrow micropigmentation or microblading?

• We must in no way remove the scabs that have formed.
• We shouldn't scratch our eyebrows.
• Do not wet or rub for the first week.
• Do not get direct sun exposure in the first 30 days.
