Eyebrows Micropigmentation and Lip Micropigmentation:

The 10 most frequently asked questions.

If you haven't joined this trend yet because you have questions, I answer 10 most frequently asked questions my clients have before the eyebrows micropigmentation and lip micropigmentation procedure.

1. Is Lip micropigmentation or Eyebrows Micropigmentation is a tattoo?

The answer is no!

eyebrows micropigmentation and lip micropigmentation is much more subtle than a tattoo, and also less aggressive to the skin.

While tattoos reach the 3 layers of the skin, the dermis and the epidermis, eyebrows Micropigmentation and lip Micropigmentation only affects the most superficial layers. This is mainly due to the different
devices used to perform both techniques of micropigmentation. .

2. Does Eyebrows micropigmentation and Lip micropigmentation hurt?

Does not hurt!

The professional will use a local anesthetic ointment about 10-15 minutes before starting the perfect eyebrows micropigmentation and as well on lip micropigmentation procedure.

You may feel a slight discomfort for a few seconds while the professional opens your skin to apply the Anesthetic. After that, the entire procedure is completely painless.

Perfect eyebrows and perfect lips: ZERO pain!

3. What is the difference between Eyebrows Micropigmentation and Microblading?

The difference is the working tool used.

In the Eyebrows Micropigmentation technique we use Dermograph, in Microblading we use Tébori.

In terms of duration: Microblading usually lasts between 6 months to 1 year. While with Eyebrows Micropigmentation it can last from 1 year to 2 years.

4. I'm Pregnant, can I do Eyebrows micropigmentation and/or Lip micropigmentation?

Not recommended. During pregnancy, we women go through many hormonal and
immunological changes, which can compromise pigment fixation, as on eyebrows micropigmentation as on lip micropigmentatio.

In addition, it has a greater tendency to develop allergies or skin irritations.

5. I'm breastfeeding, can I do micropigmentation?

No you can't. If you are breastfeeding, wait a little longer, at least three months, both for performing eyebrow micropigmentation or lip micropigmentation.

After the third month, the baby is already safe, the risk period has passed and the mother's hormone is also returning to normal.

6. Can diabetics do the Microblading procedure?

If your diabetes is under control, you can!

Unlike eyebrows micropigmentation with the dermograph, microblading is a slightly more invasive procedure performed by Tebori that contains 12 needles, to insert the pigment into your skin and there may be slight bleeding. Therefore, the most advisable thing would be a brief consultation with your family doctor.

7. Can anyone who is treated with the drug Roaccutane undergo Eyebrows micropigmentation and Lip micropigmentation?

No, this medicine is too strong.

The ideal is to wait between 3 to 4 months after finishing the treatment so as not to
compromise the healing process on your skin.

8. Can those who apply Botox do Eyebrows Micropigmentation normally?

Yes, you can. We advise you to wait at least 30 days after the procedure.

Until I get the botox result.

9. I use acid on the skin, can I do Eyebrows Micropigmentation?

The skin renewal process lasts around 28 days and in mature skin a little longer.

However, we know that acid accelerates cell renewal, which is not ideal for those who want to do micrpigmentation. Because we implant the skin pigment and we want it to stay there.

So the ideal is to wait 30 to 90 days to do the eyebrows micropigmentation and the lip micropigmentation, especially if it's Peeling (in the same region).

Now if the client had Peeling on her butt and intends to have Micropigmentation on her eyebrows, it's easy.

10. I tend to have keloids, can I have the Eyebrows micropigmentation and Lip micropigmentation?

Upon evaluation, yes you can.

Now if you have keloid in the area where you want to do Eyebrows micropigmentation and Lip micropigmentation,  the answer is no.
